Have a love affair with Rugby World Cup 2011

Have a love affair with Rugby World Cup 2011

This Valentine’s Day Rugby fans will find out if they have been lucky enough to secure tickets through the public ballot to the much anticipated semi-finals or Final of Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC 2011).

Those unlucky fans who don’t receive a much sought-after love letter from Rugby New Zealand (RNZ) 2011 on 14 February shouldn’t be heartbroken. They can still secure match tickets to Rugby’s showcase international event by purchasing Finals packages through the Official Hospitality and Travel Programme.

David White, spokesperson for the RWC 2011 Official Hospitality and Travel Programme, urges people to get in quick to guarantee their place.

“Fans who don’t want to miss what will be the biggest international event ever to be hosted in New Zealand should secure their tickets now. We have seen strong demand for both travel and hospitality packages, and have no doubt this will further increase now that these packages are the only remaining way for people to obtain tickets to the semi-finals and Final,” says Mr White.

A variety of Rugby World Cup 2011 Official Hospitality packages are currently on offer, and include match tickets as well as a world-class hospitality experience.

The flagship of the Official Hospitality Programme is Eden Park Pavilion, a luxurious, purpose-built hospitality facility at the home of the semi-finals and Final. The Pavilion will be serving up the best seats in the house with a superb four-course fine dining and entertainment experience embracing the best of New Zealand.

Alternatively, there are also a number of travel packages available which combine a ticket with transport and/or accommodation to suit the needs of fans from New Zealand and abroad.

Mr White says that another benefit to purchasing tickets through the Official Hospitality and Travel Programme is that there is no limit to the number of tickets that can be purchased.

“The ballot restricts people to just two tickets per match, which means that families and corporate groups will not be able to enjoy this exciting experience together, regardless of whether they are successful in the ballot or not. People who want to ensure they can sit with their business associates, work colleagues, friends and family have the ability to do so with both the hospitality and the travel packages.”

Hospitality and Travel packages must be purchased through an Official Agent. For more information, please visit www.rth2011.com
