Step Up 4 Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, a charity stair climb and family fun day at London’s iconic “Gherkin” tower on 22nd May 2011 is being launched next Friday 15th April from 8.30am at the “Gherkin”, 30 St Mary Axe, London, EC3A 8EP.
Step Up 4 Christchurch has the support of the New Zealand High Commissioner for the UK and His Excellency Derek Leask will officially launch the charity event.
The event – Step Up 4 Christchurch – is being arranged by the Gherkin’s co-owners Evans Randall, a UK-based property and investment banking business, headed by New Zealanders Kent Gardner and Paul Kendrick, alongside British founder and chairman Mike Evans.
As joint
owner of the Gherkin, Evans Randall want to use the building
as a means of generating much-needed funds for the
Christchurch relief effort and therefore they created the
Step Up 4 Christchurch event.
