MEDIA UPDATE:

Please be advised of the update of continued road closures in Upper Hutt:

> Blue Mountains Road CLOSED > Wallaceville Hill Road CLOSED > Mangaroa Hill Road CLOSED

Travelers wanting to access Mangaroa and Whiteman’s Valley are currently able to use Plateau Road. The dip in Parkes Line Road is open with assistance and likely delays. Motorists are advised to avoid all non-essential travel.

We continue to STRONGLY CAUTION motorists to reduce speed when entering and travelling around Upper Hutt. The conditions have greatly increased hazards on the road and drivers are warned to take extreme care.
