Sky Tower has the Cup scores for Semi-finals!
The night sky over Auckland will again be lit up this weekend as the Sky Tower transforms on Saturday and Sunday nights into the largest scoreboard in the country for the World Cup games at Eden Park.
With the base of the tower remaining white; on Saturday night, the top of the tower will be lit red when Wales is leading the match and blue when France is ahead in points. And for Sunday’s match, New Zealand will be represented by black with Australia having a yellow tower if they take the lead. The top of the tower will show both colours if scores are drawn.
At the end of the game the winning team will see their colour light up Auckland’s most iconic landmark for the remainder of the evening. The tower will return to non-match day colours of blue and green on Monday.
SKYCITY will be showing all the live coverage of the games this weekend on more than 50 screens across the site. There will also be a great selection of food and beverage offers, for more details visit: www.skycityaucklandco.nz
