Sumptuous homes, “ultimate man cave” and “South American jungle” among gems in Home & Garden tour
Twenty properties will be open for the first home and garden tour of the Kelburn suburb of Wellington to be held in many years.
The school fundraising event on Sunday November 20 will feature a wide range of homes and gardens from elegant and opulent to quirky and retro, award-winning renovations, an exquisitely detailed playhouse and a “South American jungle” themed garden.
The event will include the Art on the Glen art exhibition with scores of original works for sale – see http://www.artontheglen.co.nz - performances by opera singer Zane Te Wiremu Jarvis and a range of seminars including a presentation by poultry expert Darcy Philp of Radio New Zealand’s Funky Chicken Farm fame.
