Transpower Fault Affects Unison’s Supply to Hawke’s Bay Customers
Tuesday 18 December 2012 10.35am- Local electricity distribution company, Unison Networks’ Ltd has been affected by a transmission outage causing widespread power cuts in Hawke’s Bay.
At 9:55am Transpower, the National Grid operator, experienced a transmission outage at Redclyffe grid exit point.
Transpower are onsite repairing the fault, and Unison is working closely with Transpower to restore supply to customers as quickly as possible.
Unison expects to have power restored to most customers by 11.30am.
