The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter was responded to a 56 year old female tourist from Finland with chest injuries from a car accident on SH2, south of Takapau. The female was the passenger in the car that collided with a motorhome. The rescue helicopter crew airlifted the female and male driver of the car (as a precaution) to Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital for further treatment.
