Local Motorsport to Benefit Physio Pool
The Physio Pool is a much valued resource of Dunedin city, and it is in need of financial help to stop its closure in June.
Otago Sports Car Club doing its bit by contributing all income from the upcoming Bethunes Gully Physio-pool Benefit Hillclimb to the Otago Therapeutic Pool Trust.
“Supporting this great cause is a nice way OSCC can thank the public”, said OSCC president, Daniel Cresswell.
Without the public supporting us – eg, by tolerating occasional road closures – the opportunities for local motorsport would be far fewer, “OSCC is pleased to be able to thank the public in a meaningful way by supporting this important cause, and hope it helps keep the facility going” said Cresswell.
Bethunes Gully Hillclimb is a historic OSCC event, and is currently part of the OSCC Sealed Speed Championship, which non-OSCC members are also able to take part in.
The event will take place on Sunday 8 February, more event information available at www.OSCC.co.nz.
