A new Christmas market for Takanini
A new Christmas market for Takanini
Following the success of the the weekly Saturday Farmers' Market at 163 Airfield Road, Takaini, there will be a Sunday Christmas market from 29 November to 20 December.
The market, which focusses on Christmas gifts and foods, is manned by the people who make what they're selling. The stalls sell a great range of products. From stocking stuffers like soaps and chocolates to bigger gifts like beautiful wood carvings and jewellery. There's even a stall selling handmade cards. While you're there you can sort your summer garden at Kings Plant Barn and enjoy a lovely brunch at the cafe Friend of the Farmer. There's even a petting Zoo for the kids.
For people keen to get something direct from the source with a more personal touch this Christmas, head to the Takanini Christmas Market, this Sunday and every Sunday before Christmas. From 9.00 am to 1.30.
