MBA, Pukekawa
The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Pukekawa, South of Tuakau, to the scene of a motorbike crash. The patient, a man in his 40’s, was enrolled in a motorcycle handling class when he failed to successfully navigate a corner at approximately 80 kph. The Auckland man was transported to Waikato Hospital with leg, shoulder, and neck pain. Due to the remote location of the crash, the helicopter was the first medical response on scene.
