Road works on The Terrace, Wellington
Road works are set to begin on The Terrace next week as Wellington Water begins work to renew some of the stormwater and wastewater pipes buried beneath The Terrace.
Location
Prior to Christmas, the stormwater pipes that run from Bolton Street to Aurora Terrace and from Shell Lane to Everton Terrace will be renewed. After Christmas work will take place on the wastewater pipes that run from Bolton Street to Aurora Terrace.
Timing
Work is expected to take about six months, it will begin on 12 September and will finish by the end of March 2017.
Road work hours will generally be between 9am and 4pm weekdays.
Traffic
The road will remain open but traffic management will be in place and on-street car parking next to the site will be affected. Please use alternative routes where possible.
This work is being managed by Wellington Water on behalf of Wellington City Council.
