Hastings Hospitality Guide released to rave reviews.
As part of a new campaign to show Hastings in a new light the Hastings City Business Association has launched the first of a series of visitor experience guides. The Hospitality guide showcases the 50 cafes, restaurants and bars in the Hastings City Centre with an easy to read map. Six portraits of local hospitality personalities give the guide an authentically Hastings feel. General Manager of the HCBA Susan McDade says “people are surprised there are so many great places to choose from in Hastings. Several new establishments have opened in the last few years and there is a huge amount of choice.” This is the first of a series of initiative by the Hastings City Business Association to lift the profile of Hastings. Ms McDade is passionate about the plan to treat everyone as a visitor to our beautiful city. “Whether people are born and raised in Hastings or visiting for the first time we need to welcome them.” The guides will be available at the I-site, motels in Hastings and businesses within the Hastings CBD.
