Sky Tower lights for Blue September
Sky Tower lights for Blue September
For the next fortnight, the Sky Tower will be one of many landmarks around the country lit for Blue September, the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s national awareness campaign.
The Sky Tower is New Zealand’s tallest man-made structure, the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest free-standing structure, and the icon celebrated its 20th birthday on 3 August 2017. Based in the heart of Auckland, the Sky Tower is one of New Zealand’s most recognisable landmarks.
SKYCITY lights the Sky Tower for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations or events, or as a symbol of respect or solidarity.
