Sky Tower shines bright for Rainbow community
To celebrate the opening of the 2019 Auckland Pride Festival, Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower will glow in radiant rainbow colours.
Standing tall for love, diversity and equality, the top of the Sky Tower will be lit in dynamic rainbow colours from 1 - 3 February in support of Auckland Pride Festival and in celebration of Auckland’s vibrant Rainbow community.
The Sky Tower is the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest free-standing structure. Based in the heart of Auckland, it is one of New Zealand’s most recognisable landmarks.
SKYCITY lights the Sky Tower for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations or events, or as a symbol of respect or solidarity.
