Rural Information Meetings Scheduled For Clutha District
Four Rural Information Meetings for farmers are scheduled for tomorrow in the wider Clutha district to assist communities in the aftermath of the recent weather event.
ORC’s Manager Compliance Simon Wilson says ORC will have staff there to answer any Compliance questions from farmers.
“We know this is a difficult time where in many cases Compliance with all environmental rules is difficult. Our staff will be there to provide advice and support the community in achieving the best outcome,” he says.
The meetings are organised by the Ministry for Primary Industries and Otago Rural Support Trust, attendees include Otago Regional Council, Clutha District Council, Cowley Electrical, Mark Patterson MP, Mike Hurring Logging and others.
