Dunlop win five year tyre V8 Supercar Contract
Dunlop has won a competitive bid for a five year contract to supply tyres to the Australian V8 Supercars Championship series. Key factors in winning the hotly contested contract were the performance of the Dunlop race tyres and the level of logistical support provided to the series over the past six years.
They will also supply tyres for the Fujitsu Development Series.
The V8 Supercars use a similar tyre, albeit slightly bigger, to the Dunlop tyre used by the NZV8s. With the experience of tens of thousands of racing kilometres, the current Supercar tyre has proved itself in a wide range of temperature and track conditions.
