Limousine South drives forward
Queenstown-based company Limousine South is taking its business to another level with a smart new look, a new name and expanded operation.
Jeremy and Belinda
Crichton have taken thousands of visitors around the South
Island over six years of running their luxury limousine
company Horizonz
Now the company has re-branded and
launched as Limousine South, with an instantly recognisable
new logo gracing its versatile modern fleet of limousine
sedans, luxury people-movers and small tour
coaches.
Limousine South has also risen to the
eco-challenge and is putting its green
Mr Crichton said
the company was wholeheartedly behind Tourism New
Zealand’s push towards environmental sustainability within
the tourism industry. Two brand new vehicles will be added
to the Limousine South fleet this season which are rated
Euro IV, the internationally-recognised emission
standard.
“We’re the longest-serving limousine operators in Queenstown and have loved every moment spent turning journeys into experiences for small groups of visitors,” said Mr Crichton. “Since we took over Horizonz in 2001 the company has grown substantially, so we felt it was time to develop a brand that better describes what we do.”
Mr Crichton said although the name had changed, the company’s commitment to “absolute quality and fantastic service” remained the same, using a long-standing hand-picked team of driver guides.
Mr Crichton has harnessed his multi-linguistic background to develop a niche in foreign language driver-guiding -- although the English service is very much at the forefront, Limousine South has become the largest South Island foreign language company in the sector, offering driver-guides speaking Spanish, French and Portuguese.
Whether the company is providing the road travel component of luxury multi-day tours, or airport and destination transfers, standards remain unvaryingly high.
“We don’t use
the word ‘luxury’ lightly,” said Mrs Crichton.
“Every aspect of our operation lives up to this promise.
Moving people from one place to another in luxury is only
part of the Limousine South story -- making sure our clients
remember their journey for all the right reasons is
something rather different.
“We only employ the very
best people and that’s why our driver-guides are so much
more than drivers,” she said. “They’re raconteurs,
mines of information, problem-solvers, experienced
travellers, true Kiwis, entertainers, quiet confidantes, AND
respectful
chauffeurs.”
