MTV LAUNCHES A BRAND NEW MUSIC COUNTDOWN SHOW, MTV POP 20HOSTED BY NEW ZEALANDS OWN, KRIT!

New Zealand, Auckland; Monday, October 6: MTV today announced the launch of a brand new music chart show, MTV Pop 20. Hosted by New Zealand’s newly appointed MTV VJ, Krit and his Aussie wingman, Kate Peck, MTV Pop 20 will air Saturday’s at 9am on MTV Hits.
MTV VJ Krit said, “Becoming MTV’s newest VJ and moving to Australia has been awesome! I'm having a great time BUT I still really miss my people back in New Zealand so I'm so excited to be able to crash your screens every Saturday morning, hosting my own new countdown show with my Aussie buddy Kate!"
MTV Pop 20 will countdown the hottest 20 clips of the week in a new link and clip show produced and filmed on set at MTV HQ in Sydney. The program will showcase the hottest and most talked about tracks across Australia and New Zealand. MTV Pop 20 will air on MTV Hits, Channel 110 on SKY, from 9am Saturday mornings.
