Please be advised of the following event at Government House, Wellington, on Tuesday, 4 February 2003, at 11.30am.
The Governor-General Dame Silvia Cartwright will receive the credentials of the Ambassador for Thailand, His Excellency Mr Norachit Sinhaseni; Ambassador for Austria, His Excellency Dr Johann Demel; High Commissioner for Mauritius, Her Excellency Mrs Jane Jounais; Ambassador for Yugoslavia, His Excellency Mr Milivoje Glisic; and High Commissioner for Bangladesh, His Excellency Lt Gen M Harun-Ar-Rashid, Bp (Rtd).
There will be a formal powhiri for each of the new representatives. Media wishing to cover the event should contact the Public Affairs Officer to confirm attendance by 6pm on Monday, 3 February.
