Chauvel to Copenhagen
The New Zealand Labour Party will be represented at the United Nations Climate Change Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen (COP15) this month by its Climate Change Issues Spokesperson Charles Chauvel.
"Climate Change is one of the most pressing issues facing the world. Labour is hopeful for concrete action arising out of COP15,” Mr Chauvel said.
“We believe that the prospects for a high-level international agreement have risen over the past few weeks. At the conference I will be monitoring progress toward such an agreement, and reporting back to the Labour caucus.
Mr Chauvel, who is funding the trip himself, will be in Copenhagen from Saturday, 12 December, and be contactable on his normal mobile telephone and email address.
