Index of Canterbury quake legislation

One-stop Internet page lists all Canterbury earthquake legislation

The Parliamentary Counsel Office (PCO) has created a one-stop Internet page listing all recent changes to legislation in response to the Canterbury earthquake.

The page is www.pco.parliament.govt.nz/pco-news/#earthquake. The page can also be accessed from the “Recovery: the future” section of the Government’s www.canterburyearthquake.govt.nz website.

The PCO will update its page as any new Canterbury earthquake-related legislation is made. Currently on the page are:

Canterbury Earthquake Response and Recovery Act 2010 which came into force on 14 September 2010.

The following Orders and Regulations have been made:

Canterbury Earthquake (Resource Management Act) Order 2010

Canterbury Earthquake (Transport Legislation) Order 2010

Canterbury Earthquake (Local Government Act 2002) Order 2010
