Petite sweets: Loaf launches its range of Mini Bites

Small is good! Loaf Handcrafted Breads knows this.

The gourmet baker has just launched its new Mini Bites, a range of mini-bite versions of their popular and best-selling delectable slices. Now, if you don’t need a full size Loaf slice, small bite size versions are waiting at a retailer near you.

Loaf’s Sean Armstrong says the handy 150g snack bags contain exactly the same products as the brand’s ever-popular slices.

“Big can be bad when you see something you might like in the store and you just want a small sample to test out your taste-buds,” Armstrong says.

“They’re also great for school lunch boxes or work pick-me-ups.”

Loaf Mini Bites are available in sticky chocolate, cranberry & pistachio, rocky road, gooey caramel, white velvet and explosive ginger.

A favourite of Sean’s – the sticky chocolate - is a truly decadent dark gooey brownie made from French chocolate.

Mini Bites are available for RRP $5 in supermarkets and gourmet food stores nationwide. Visit www.loaf.co.nz for stockists.

About Loaf
Loaf is the work of celebrated chef Sean Armstrong. His vision of producing high quality artisan breads and baked goods led to the opening of Loaf bakery in 2004. As the executive chef and owner of one of Auckland’s leading restaurants, Prime Bistro, Sean became increasingly frustrated with the city’s lacklustre bread offering. Despite extensive trial and investigation, he could not find a consistent supply of quality baked goods. There was a distinct gap in the market and this provided Sean with a new and exciting opportunity. Loaf’s mission statement: to produce the highest quality, artisan breads for the Auckland restaurant scene and beyond. Use your Loaf and visit www.loaf.co.nz for your nearest stockist and recipe ideas.
