Destiny New Zealand attending Waitangi 2005
Destiny New Zealand political party will attend the Waitangi day commemorations at Waitangi this weekend. Party Leader Richard Lewis says representatives from the party, including its Maori delegates, will arrive on Saturday morning and remain for the duration of the weekend.
"Of course this is a significant day in the history of our nation and one that Destiny New Zealand honours. We attended last year and made a very positive contribution and we look forward to doing the same again this year", says Lewis. Of Ngati Awa and British descent, Lewis says Destiny NZ's policy priority is in protecting, empowering and prospering whanau.
