Statement from Te Whanau O Waipareira Trust
“We have received the Serious Fraud Office findings into the alleged financial irregularities of 1998 and 1999 of Te Whanau O Waipareira Trust. The Trust Board is pleased that the SFO’s assessment has been completed.
The Trust and the whanau have been through a very difficult time, and the priority has been on strengthening our whanau, our wairua and our mana. This will allow us -- and everyone else involved -- to move on. We have no other comments to make on this matter”.
