Grey Power's Mystery
Grey Power's Mystery
The Grey Power National President, Mr Graham Stairmand, has today distanced Grey Power from this morning's article in the NZ Herald where reporter Paula Oliver stated in her headline that 'Grey Power thanks Peters for $20-00 weekly boost'.
"We have no knowledge of the source of the information and have not calculated any figures or thanked Mr Peters as was stated in this article. When speaking to the Ministry of Social Development this morning, we were told that no figures on the adjustment of superannuation have yet been confirmed and we wish to assure all members that, without confirmation, we would not make such a media release. We are disappointed that the reporter did not feel it necessary to speak to either myself as National President or to our National Office to corroborate the details outlined therein".
