NZMA wishes Ryall 'all the best'
The New Zealand Medical Association (NZMA) wishes Health Minister Tony Ryall all the best for his retirement from politics at the coming election.
“Minister Ryall has been a strong and passionate advocate for the health sector,” says NZMA Chair Dr Mark Peterson. “The NZMA has particularly appreciated his emphasis on clinical leadership in the sector and his drive for improved accountability.
“The sector has seen significant changes under his watch and there has been no doubting his knowledge of and commitment to improving the health of New Zealanders.”
