Demonstration of protest against Mexican atrocities
Demonstration of protest against Mexican atrocities
This Saturday December, 6th, 2014, the
Mexican community in Christchurch, New Zealand, along with
diverse ethnic solidary groups, will gather at the Cathedral
Square from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in Christchurch centre to
denounce the widespread repression that in Mexico is part of
a policy of state terrorism.
A strong show of barbarism of this policy is the slaughter committed last September 26th against trainee teachers from Ayotzinapa in the state of Guerrero.
That day the students were leafleting and collecting donations, when they were all brutally repressed resulting in six people murdered, 25 wounded and 43 missing comrades.
This crime against humanity cannot go unpunished , we, the Mexican community in New Zealand have decided to speak out against this barbarism that exists in our country, to send a message of solidarity with all those victims of political repression in Mexico .
