Cannabis Party Enters Northland By-election
The Cannabis Party has officially entered the Northland By-election race.
Former Northland MP Mike Sabin's conduct had disgraced the entire cannabis prohibition movement.
Leader Julian Crawford said legal cannabis would immediately add millions to the Northland economy and help end the cycle of poverty, racial discrimination and imprisonment.
"Despite cannabis use being a victimless act, prohibitionists like Sabin were happy to see them sent to jail," Crawford said.
"Now the tables are turned, Sabin should now rot in jail and his anti-cannabis campaign should be dismissed as hypocritical nonsense."
The newly selected Cannabis Party candidate will restore dignity and prosperity to the Northland electorate.
