Property Pros Join Forces at Hobsonville Point

As Auckland’s newest coastal development, Hobsonville Point, enters an exciting new phase of growth with houses selling at a healthy rate, the management team has been bolstered bringing a wealth of property expertise to the business.

The new team brings commercial focus as Hobsonville Point transitions from the planning phase to commercial delivery, with more than half of the homes available for sale already sold despite current market conditions.

Chris Aiken, Hobsonville Land Company’s new CEO, has an impressive history in the New Zealand property sector, with a background spanning twenty five years. He has sat on the Auckland Council Property Enterprise Board for three years, and is a current member of the team advising Auckland Council Property Limited on the Auckland Plan.

New Hobsonville Land Company Commercial Manager, Mark Fraser, has 15 years finance and property experience having recently contracted for Waterfront Auckland to lead the redevelopment of Queens Wharf and deliver the popular Cloud for the RWC 2011.

New Senior Finance Officer, Andrew Pollock, has 30 years experience within the local government sector including infrastructure projects. Andrew spent 10 years with the Office of the Auditor-General Victoria, and in New Zealand he was Audit Manger with Audit New Zealand before joining the former Waitakere City Council in 1992, where he progressed to Director: Finance.
