Federated Farmers is clarifying that the Horizons Regional Councils’ (HRC) report on the One Plan’s economic impacts on dairy farms, referenced in yesterday’s media release, is the August 2009 Neild and Rhodes report. This was presented within a section 42A report in a 2010 hearing on the plan. A link to this report is available by clicking here.
The comment that the plan’s implementation costs to dairy farmers would result in more money spent within New Zealand was in former HRC One Plan manager Helen Marr’s section 42A report. This report is available by clicking here.
