B_E_E – The Backgrounder

B_E_E – The Backgrounder

B_E_E bold…

We all love New Zealand. We love what it gives us – the air we breathe, the water we drink, the lifestyle we enjoy. Our environment shapes the way we think as New Zealanders. There’s a distinct sense of can-do in each one of us.

Brigid Hardy feels this way. A modern, smart woman with an interest in ethical and social business, she has an idea – a big idea.

Why not create a range of cleaning products that fits with our values as New Zealanders, that performs better than anything the ‘big soaps’ could throw at it, that’s environmentally sound, natural and good for you - yet actually works? A product that gets things clean, while looking and feeling great.

Brigid is taking on the big guns with a product that every New Zealander wants.

The name? B_E_E – Beauty Engineered for Ever.

People have ideas like this all the time. But how many back their ideas with such passion and conviction?

B_E_E smart…

Impassioned about making her idea a reality she spoke to friends. Influential, intelligent people who could see and understand what Brigid stood for. Products which redefine green for today’s world.

Her influential friends helped bring the ideas to life. She built a young talented team, backed by New Zealand experts who brought both goodwill and colour.

There was the groovy mentor at Designworks who infused the bottles and packaging with eye-catching attitude. There was the French perfumerer in the Waitakeres who searched the world for just the right blends of essential oils. And the Auckland-based formulator who worked ferociously to come up with just the right mix of ingredients to create a green product that works.

The list of names goes on. The community of people committed to making B_E_E work is growing and the momentum continues to build.

This community is shaping B_E_E to take on the world’s biggest and oldest cleaning product companies. And they want to do it the right way. That’s why B_E_E’s cleaning products are the first to be endorsed by Environmental Choice. They outperform the big players in the market, but contain natural cleaning agents and essential oils. Coconut, palm oil, sugar and Kawakawa. Delicious scents and natural, sensual experiences. Who says being green can’t be fun?

B_E_E loved…

Why not save the world and feel great doing it? Why compromise on beauty and performance? You don’t have to, and as New Zealanders we understand that our world can be both luxurious and sensuous, as well as clean and green! We live here. It’s our place. We do things our way.

We’re behind this idea because we know it will work. B_E_E products have already hit the market and they’re here to stay. Major retailers have recognised the value of the idea, and sensing the passion and enthusiasm behind Brigid’s idea, are now stocking the products. They can sense a movement, a phenomenon. We know the B_E_E community will keep growing once people see, smell and feel the products.

B_E_E is about daring, being audacious enough to take on the ‘big soaps’ and know you can win. New Zealanders are smart - they know a good idea when they see one. And more than anything, they care about what’s important in their lives – their families, their lifestyle and their environment. This is one adventure that’s just beginning.
