Kiwi Campers releases Rugby World Cup 2011 Rates
Campervan rental company Kiwi Campers has released its rental rates for the period of the 2011 Rugby World Cup, and hopes to use the event to show the world what New Zealand has to offer.
Kiwi Campers is a strong player in the New Zealand tourism industry and recognises the significance of the event, said General Manager Nathan Brand.
“This will be a huge promotional boost, and we have taken the first step by releasing our rates for September and October 2011.”
The rates for Kiwi Campers’ four types of vehicles during the two months range from $119 per day for a two-berth Toyota Hiace to $259 per day for a six-berth Ford Transit. Further discounts are available for long-term hires.
Rugby fans world wide began investigating prices as soon as the event was announced, he said. However the potential cost to tourists is high, and it is hard for many businesses to provide them with quotes so far in advance.
Kiwi Campers’ rates reflect a need for quality accommodation and transport at a peak time but are still extremely competitive, Mr Brand said.
“Our aim is to set a price that is affordable and not out of touch with our current rates.”
“Kiwi Campers has taken the initiative to lead the way in helping the Barmy Army and the rest of the world lock in what is sure to be an outstanding event.”
