Fortinet Opens New Office in New Zealand

Fortinet Opens New Office in New Zealand and Appoints Country Manager
Local presence in New Zealand follows on year of outstanding growth

SYDNEY, Australia, December 10, 2007 -- Fortinet – the pioneer and leading provider of unified threat management (UTM) solutions – today announced the expansion of its operations into New Zealand with the opening of a new Fortinet office in Auckland. This follows a year of rapid and significant growth in business operations in Australia and New Zealand.

The establishment of a new office in New Zealand coincides with the appointment of Clive Levido as New Zealand country manager for Fortinet. Mr. Levido will be responsible for both business development and managing the daily operations of the New Zealand territory. Mr. Levido will work with Fortinet’s New Zealand channel partners to promote and support unified threat management solutions and managed security services.

Mr. Levido was previously client director for enterprise sales at Gen-I New Zealand, winning awards for outstanding sales performance for three consecutive years, since 2005. Prior to Gen-I, Mr. Levido worked as team leader for corporate sales and business manager for TelstraClear, during which he earned the TelstraClear OTT (Over The Top) for 2003 and 2002, and the TelstraSaturn Excellence Award in November 2001.

Charles Cote, regional director for Fortinet Australia and New Zealand commented, “Strong demand in New Zealand for unified threat management solutions has necessitated our investment in a strong local presence. Clive has a remarkable understanding of the local challenges and an impressive track record in account management. We believe that he will be successful in building the local operations and channel relationships that will enable us to expand our business in New Zealand.”
