TRAVELLERS NEED TO CHECK THEIR LOTTO TICKETS
Labour weekend travellers should check their Lotto tickets because two Lotto First Division prizes, worth $344,726 each, and a chance to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel are yet to be claimed, says New Zealand Lotteries Commission (NZ Lotteries) Chief Executive Trevor Hall.
Mr Hall says the unclaimed Lotto First Division wins went to tickets bought at Wellington Airport's Whitcoulls and Foodtown Three Kings in Auckland.
"October has been an amazing month for the Wellington Airport Whitcoulls store, with this being the second Lotto First Division prize won by a ticket sold there.
"The Winning Wheel serial number went to a ticket bought at Paper Plus Dunedin Airport. Airport lottery outlets seem to be on a run of good luck at the moment.
"With three big prizes outstanding players should check their tickets at any lottery outlet, or on our website www.nzlotteries.co.nz," Mr Hall says.
A third ticket won a share of First Division winning ticket in Saturday's Lotto Draw, 959. It was bought at Hornby Mall Lotto, in Christchurch and the prize had been claimed.
NZ Lotteries provides Winning Wheel winners with a luxury weekend in Wellington, including flights and accommodation at the Duxton hotel, lunch with a Lotto presenter and a mini-makeover with a wardrobe stylist before the televised draw.
