Dominion Headline Wrong
Tuesday, 7 September 1999, 9:37 am
Press Release: New Zealand Government
Contrary to the headline in today’s Dominion, National has
no policy on the sale of the three baby ECNZs, Enterprise
and Commerce Minister Max Bradford said today.
“What I
said to a conference yesterday afternoon was that some
future government may decide to sell one or more of the baby
ECNZs.
“I did not say that National plans to sell all
three, as the headline wrongly states.
“The headline bears
no relationship to National Party policy,” Mr Bradford
said.
