Winners announced in 2016 CRM Contact Centre Awards

Friday 16 September 2016: – In front of a packed audience in Auckland tonight, Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand and AA Insurance took out the top honours for contact centre customer service winning the Supreme Awards category.

AA Insurance won the Diamond Award for contact centres with more than 50 seats, while Mitsubishi Motors took out the same category award for the best contact centre with less than 50 seats.

It was double award winning night for AA Insurance, which also took the Diamond Award for website Live Chat.

Diamond sponsor Randstad New Zealand says the quality of the entries in the prestigious national CRM Contact Centre Awards was impressive.

“In every category the dedication and passion for what they do is evident,” says Randstad National Manager for Contact Centre, Brooke Nelson.

“We know as recruitment and HR specialist that a skilled and happy workforce is crucial to the success of a company as they’re at the coalface of a business.

“The play a huge role in how customers perceive a company,” she says.

Outbound call centres are equally important to a company’s public perception and success says Nelson.

Coca-Cola Amatil (NZ) Ltd won the Diamond Award for outbound Business-to-Business calling, while the Diamond Award for Outbound Business-to-Consumer Award went to Mercury Outbound Sales.

The annual CRM Contact Centre Awards recognise the efforts of contact centre staff across New Zealand.

Country Manager of Randstad New Zealand, Brien Keegan said it’s been a pleasure to be involved in the Awards.

“Every finalist deserved to be there on the night. It’s a highly demanding industry and the dedication of the people and the contact centres’ achievements are very impressive,” he says.

The CRM Contact Centre Awards was introduced to New Zealand in 1997 to measure the quality of service delivered by contact centres over the telephone and internet, and to raise awareness of the impact this has upon their image.

This year’s awards ceremony attracted more than 750 people, reflecting the prestige of the event and the significance of the industry across the country.

Director of CRM Consulting, Laurie Smith, said it was a fantastic night celebrating the accomplishments within the industry.

“It’s a tough decision every year to select the top three in each category. We’d like to congratulate the winners who are highly deserving of their awards, and thank each company who entered for their dedicated work.”

A full list of winners will be available on Sunday 18 September at http://www.crmconsulting.co.nz/
