McClay On Two Bottles of Red

McClay On Two Bottles of Red

After two bottles of red wine the Commissioner for Children is not a good role model, ACT Family Spokesman Heather Roy said today.

"Mr McClay has sought publicity because he got a headache after being sprayed by painted apple moth control in Auckland. He claims Foray 48B spray is obviously terrible for children.

"He then destroys both his own argument and his credibility as a role model and spokesperson by admitting he had downed two bottles of red wine, and his slight nausea may have been caused by that.

"Mr McClay must avoid jumping on political band wagons that have nothing to do with kids. A little bit of science may have assisted in his self-diagnosis - and a little less Australian red," Mrs Roy said.
