Tsunami wave expected in Coromandel 9.45
Tsunami warning update - URGENT

Residents in low-lying areas of the Coromandel coast are being urged to move to higher ground NOW because of a potential one-metre high tsunami due to hit shortly (at approx 9.45am NZ time).
Fire service staff have been driving around urging these residents to move, and harbourmasters are being told by Environment Waikato not to move on the water.
People in the area are being urged to listen to Coromandel FM or a national radio network for further information.
