Amigene Metcalfe joins Magic
Magic confirm team for 2017
Media Release
Tuesday 27
September, 2016
I am delighted to announce that Amigene Metcalfe will be the Assistant Coach of the Magic for 2017.
After a robust process Amigene emerged due to her playing history (former Silver Fern) coaching history, her knowledge of the game and her organisational ability. She is an exceptional applicant.
Amigene is a local Waikato person who played all her Netball in the Waikato and was Captain of the very first Magic team.
This appointment continues the focus of the Magic Zone to appoint/select local people where possible and shows the success of the coach education programs over the years. It is getting harder and harder to make these appointments as our education programs are producing more and more talented people.
We are delighted to have Amigene as part of the Magic Team.
